The president of Ghana tweeted today to call attention to a social media posting making the rounds that he has written to the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu to drop out of the presidential race for Peter Obi. He categorically denied the comment and the tweet making rounds on social media. In his tweet, he shared the image of the comment he was said to have made and emblazoned it with a fake icon to signify that the tweet was a lie. He further explained that Ghana has no intent to interfere in Nigeria’s election.
It should be noted that Peter Obi of the Labour Party has been caught many times lying during his speeches and many of his followers have taken to his acceptance of lies to create fake news to promote the candidate.
